I'm American and I want to be Canadian. I picked up the accent (living on the border and all) and people call me Canadian all the time, and I've never minded. I /do/ mind being called Brittish, though. Second most common confusion.

On a compleatly different note, thank you for this. It kinda had to be done. I've been wondering why the most commonly visited contries in Doctor Who are England, America and Scotland, and I don't think they've ever done Canada. (I guess England is understandable...)

That aside, you're a very good writer. Is it wrong that I kept expecting Mathew to show up?

ooh, I share that particular attitude. I'm gonna be going around for the rest of the day noticing every time I say eh... great. I lived in England, and EVERYONE WOULD ASK ME IF I WAS AMERICAN! It annoyed the hell out of me. Good story, I've always wanted the Doctor to visit Canada.

And yes, Canadian history is fairly boring (more so when you study it in French), but only because we don't have wars every few years.

Haha, I'm enjoying it, even as an American. I like the energy your story has, which makes it really fun. It's nice to see the Doc with a traveling companion who isn't British ;)

I'm part American and part Canadian so I can't be offended as I'm biased towards both countries :o)

I love your sense of humour and this would be so cool to see wnat happens when the Doctor travels with a Canadian companion. (or maybe a Canadian/American one) sorry! just wishful thinking!
