I love this 'fic so much - every chapter. The Doctor and Sarah are so lovely together, and your writing really reflects this in a very honest and touching way. Thank you for the honour that has been reading this. Please, keep up the excellent work!

truly brilliantly written, my hat goes off to you, sir! (or madam::s) I suggest something on the Doctor feels when Sarah gets poisoned by the Cybermat, when she is experimented upon by the Sontaran or when she is captured by Chase! this sounds really morbid, I guess, but I mean well! _ hope this helps somehow (but I'm not all too sure how it could)! keep up the good work!

I may have said this before, apologies if I have, but reading this fic is like wrapping yourself up in a favourite, comfy blanket and settling down in an armchair with a mug of hot tea. It's comforting, beautiful, subtle and calming. I could read it forever. Your grasp of the characters is perfect, bar nothing, I always agree with you on your analysis and addition to the episodes, which is incredibly rare. I forget which chapter it is, but when Sarah's head been injured, the Doctor has that gash on the side of his face, I can see the entire following scene playing out in front of my eyes and found it unbelievably touching that he mentally stopped her from feeling the pain he didn't manage to shield her from. I really hope you keep finding odd tidbits to add here, I'll never get tired of reading them. Happy typing! x

An excellent story. I've always felt Sarah to be the best companion of them all-despite what the "New Who" fans might believe. (I mean, Rose and Amy and the rest of them are great, but nothing like SJS!) 10 out of 10 stars.

Sigh. All of this is such sweet stuff. Really enjoying it.

WooT! Well, that was worth coming home to! Even if I should have been in bed an hour and a half ago and I know I will regret staying up to read all the new installments from my favorite writers in the morning. What am I saying? It IS morning!

Classic mutual hurt/comfort-not sure I've ever done hurt/comfort. Turn and turn about, yes, but not both hurt at the same time. Interesting! And of course what it leads to-VERY interesting! :) Finally all that sleeping together turned into-sleeping together! "She'd felt the Universe open to her in new ways that she'd never expected..." I just bet she did! Lucky girl!

Oh, Oh, Oh, I so loved this! These two deserve to be together forever. They've gone through so much for so long. No other companion has ever touched the Doctor's hearts the way Sarah does.
