How well this shows the deep friendship between these two men! And heck, though I know it's a bit self-indulgent, I do enjoy a story that provides a good (but happy in the end) cry like this once in a while.

I love the switch from helpless!Napoleon to GottaTakeCareofPartner!Napoleon (Napoleon would never give in to despair if Illya needed him, so in character!) and Illya's bad humour at being laid up and imagining all the things *ahem* Napoleon might be handling for Illya while his hands heal... *wicked grin* I am seeing a sequel here of the purely porn variety. Might I get a private showing of that? I will ask nicely and everything. *bats eyelashes* Or ya know, my imagination has already gone there, yeah. *snerk*
