What a great glimpse into the Clifford's angsty teen brain. I can't imagine any boy who didn't go through these exact feelings at 15/16. I like how you mentioned that Ricky too, is inexperienced in dating and Shelley had to 'grab the bull by the horns.' lol. I agree with your note on Cliff, he comes off the same way to me, so if we sometimes write him wiser than his years, it's okay. I used to know so many young people like that, I think I was one of em..haha.
