This is the best ME fic I have read in a long time :3 I really enjoyed the style. For instance, Naveed's speech is extremely well done. I also liked his personality - while he is just as religious and collected as Thane, he is not a total copy. He is younger (probably?) and not so reserved, he can not always control his emotions as well as memories, but at the same time, he is much more kind and sensitive. That's pretty cool :)
As for the minuses, I find Blair a bit lacking. My thoughts are, she is really dwelling too much on the accident that took place so long before. I just find myself wanting to say: "Oh come on, girl, it's been ages!". Just can't feel that sort of "connection" to her as a character, that Naveed establishes almost momentarily.
All in all, the story is really great and I hope to read more of these two)

P.S. I wouldn't let Naveed get away from his *itchy X quite so easily, though :3 really expected there to be a confrontation between her and Blair)

I love AIs, good endings, drells, quarians and some good drama. It this story I find all of it. Blair's fate really tragic, I love her and her tough\broken personality. AI cute, drell-doc interesting one, her wife stupid and jealous, but after all she good women.

Once again, I'm blown away by the quality of your writing. I'm amazed how consistently you're able to write your characters, how easily the dialogue between them flows and how careful you are with the little things that define them.

Blair and Kilandra are both truly gripping characters, and the language you use around them is beautiful. You have a fantastic flow in the way you describe, especially when it comes to actions. I loved the discussion between Kilandra and Ohari, giving us the emotion of the subject matter without explicitly revealing what they're talking about, at least as far as exposition goes. Every word they say is instantly believable: nothing feels incongruous or out of place, and every line of dialogue matches the character you've developed with wonderful precision.

Normally, I'd try and put some constructive criticism in here, but I honestly have nothing bad to say. Your writing is far superior to mine, and I thoroughly enjoy reading it. Can't wait for the next bit :-)
