It seems like quarantine had been able to be a productive time for some people, so tbh this isn't the first older fic that's gotten an update. But it's the first (possibly only?) one that I am super excited about. I opened this and was like...it's familiar? But what's happened with the story? And then I re-read and BRO. I remembered how much I loved this! How much I read this over and over and over again! It's dark and twisted, and though I haven't kept up with the Shadowhutner series this spurred me to try and find some more fics with this relationship (any suggestions?). I still love it. It's absolutely awful and I love it, lol.

I want you to know how happy I am that you came back to this story, how much I admire you. It sounds like it's something that gave you joy, and it's fantastic that you were able to come back to this.

But also. my dude. Write fast because I don't know how long I can hold on after that cliffhanger :)

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you are healing from that. But I'm so glad you decided to continue fighting for some happiness by coming back to writing. Although it's been years since this was last update, I never gave up hope that one day, you would come back to this. Take as long as you need to write the next chapter. Your health should come first.
