This is the type of story that demands a certain level of suspension of belief, a genuine sense of humour, and an understanding that most of this would not just break but dissolve any military or peacekeeping force’s regulations pertaining to sexual harassment and unprofessional behaviour. Once these things are disregarded, it’s a lot of sexy fun. After all, it’s not real, and much better because of that.

dang it! I know from the context of this story, that she’s gonna end up with kirk... but you’ve made them both so likable, I don’t want either of them to be rejected.
P.S. I’m cool with both ships (but deep down, spock/uhura will always have a little edge over all other ships for me).
