I thought this story was awsome, and very well written. As for the next AC fic, why not do a completely original work detailing the movements of the Brotherhood in modern times? not necessarily following established characters or established story lines.

Though, I've always wondered what would happen if Altair found himself in a completely different country at the time of the Crusades?

Hm...Robert de Sable? Well, since I played pretty quick through the beginning of the game, I'm still a bit confused as to what his role was in the game - so whatever he does in this story is fine with me, even if he shows up now. :)

Omg, I twitch again in barely concealed excitement! Please update again soon! I cannot wait to see Malik's reaction to what's happened to Altair! OOh yay! Btw, I loved how Altair just continously aggrivated the soldiers despite the physical abuse he knew would follow. Simply brilliant!
