Your french is just a little off.

Escarguantuan should have said something along the lines of "no promonade en le parc por moi, Monsiuer."

and later, instead of "Cher (spelled Chier) Dieu" it would have been more likely to say, "Mon Dieu."

This sounds like a serious competitor to the official sequel to MvA! I like the creative manipuilation of Galaxhar's phrase 'What the Flagnard'. It sounds just like the same language. Have to wonder about Flagnar, though...she's admitted that her husband had faults, but she seems guilty of many of those same faults. I look forward to hearing more about her.

I also enjoyed seeing the monsters in prime form...plus Escargantua. Practically every story I've read doeesn't have him/her, so it's refreshing actually seeing her, since you've got her as female. Plus Dr. Cockroach's expertise at chess. Seriously, though, how did he win only moving one piece one space per turn? I play chess myself, and I can't see how that would work unless the other was a complete idiot or trying to lose...and Susan is neither.

Anyway, this is a truely good story. Looking forward to more!
