I have never viewed these characters as slash potential; but I have absolutely nothing against some well-placed, tasteful slash. Therefore, in the interest of exposure to round out my education here in this fandom, I have finally come around looking for a few. I saw the number of favorites and decided to take a chance on this.

I cannot begin to explain to you how incredibly awesome I found this. Despite being a bit more graphic than my usual tastes, this was written in an extremely engaging style. It spoke very true of the characters, especially from Watson's point of view. It was a fantastic first time read. And, alas, I will probably never find another quite like it. I don't think anything slash I explore in this fandom will ever compare to your perfection in character portrayal, descriptive style, and more. Thank you for giving my brain something to work over (instead of maintaining a narrow-minded view of things) as well as spoiling me with how well-written it truly was.

No more? But it was so good! Loved the humour and the complexity of Watson's feelings for Holmes, sure there isn't any more?

I have been spending the last several days working my way through your Sherlock works. I cannot express adequately how awed I am at your prowess for writing these two men so in character and so perfectly spot on for the time period and the language.

What I love about this particular story (and I will be reviewing the other two soon) is that you had Holmes not fear the baser needs as in the other works. I have not read a lot of Holmes works and only just now saw the movies, so what little I know about him lends more to the theory that he simply has no use for human needs like sex, as you state in this and not a phobia of it.

But I love the vulnerable, innocent side you bring out so effortlessly in him and Watson being so steady and true. I think you, above all, nail this complex Need these two men have for each other that transcends mere friendship.

I love that you bring out that Holmes is a man of the mind and doesn't even know how to live so much int he outside world, with normal human needs and frailties, without Watson as his touchstone.

Not to mention? This was just plain HOT. The unresolved feelings path is always my favorite and you don't let the characters stray into fanciful flights of romance.

I push on to review you other works and hope so very much that you continue your WIP "Distractions". This is truly brilliant.

As respectfully as possible I request a sequel. I BEG YOU! PLEASE! This is just begging to turn into a beautiful romance full of awkward, stomach fluttering, moments. Wonderfully written, and imaginatively expressed.

This little work of art is very much appreciated, and I believe that you may not fear of any 'Americanisms' as you call it, the story was very well written and quite believable.

A pleasure and joy to read, and I wholeheartedly agree with you that the 'Granada' version starring Jeremy Brett was just as enjoyable if not more so to watch then the 2009 movie.
