Great work! I love the Lexie-Meredith relationship and the way you portrayed it here, with the common experiences of abuse and addiction from a father figure, that really makes sense. I love the second person point of view too, it adds a dimension to the story. Well done!

This is such great work. You've really captured the constantly conflicting emotions involved in loving someone who struggles with substance abuse and the lies (partly from the substance abuser but mainly lies one tells oneself) one has to work through before making any real progress on anyone's behalf.

I think this is an incredibly promising storyline. I hope the show follows your lead.

I like it. I like it a lot. This is one of those few scenes where Mer and Lexie make a connection that almost no one else can make and Mer realizes that she really likes and needs having a sister. I only imagine should you choose to write a chapt. 2, she is not going to be able to hide or explain away the bruise on her cheek from Derek.

This completely warmed my heart ) I'm hoping something like this will happen on the show because I think it would make sense for Meredith to turn to Lexie for something like now that they're getting closer.
