SnowAngel5683 chapter 1 . 1/19/2011 This was kinda sad but was a good story ) and your right they each need their story told ) |
Galimaufry chapter 1 . 8/27/2010 I admit that I've always liked Mrs. Jones, and I very much liked this piece. |
tediously ordinary chapter 1 . 4/25/2010 Wow- I like it. You know- I've always hated Alan Blunt because of the way he treated Alex(blame Anthony Horowitz for that) but this gave me a new perspective on him and Tulip(hahaha) too. Keep writing ohter stories please! |
Sillybookwarm chapter 1 . 4/25/2010 *wipes tears* Sad. I love the way you gave an insight into Mrs. Jones' head & how Blunt was before he became the head of MI6. |
In.Between.The.Lines chapter 1 . 1/28/2010 This is definitely my favorite Alex Rider fic yet. 3 |
cybercat08 chapter 1 . 1/24/2010 this was a great story. An interesting look into the possible past between mr. Blunt and Mrs. Jones, I usually don't read anything that has them as a couple but this story drew me in. I love that both characters only allow their emotions to show subtly, because it actually fits with the characters as we know them in the books. The only problem I had was with the last section with Alex. I always had the impression that she genuinely cared about what happened to him, and Alex wanting to kill them seems off as well. |
El Reino chapter 1 . 1/16/2010 My first thought when I was reading this was "aw". But my first thoughts don't always make a satisfying review so here I go: This story was interesting, and not in a bad way. I have never thought of Jones or Blunt having a past relationship before, however platonic it was. I also didn't have the imagination to think of Blunt having to deal with SCORPIA. It was original and shocking and very well done. I love the ideas now that I think of it. One typo I did see was: "'You always did manage that particular mask quite well you know, Mrs. Jones, even for an MI6 operative, he whispered quietly." You missed the end quote after "...operative,". But as I said before, well done, I really liked it. Thanks for writing! 95 |
WI9 chapter 1 . 1/8/2010 OMG! I LOVE this! it is SO well written and i just love the story line! You always wonder what their pasts are like! Keep on writing! |
Emmy-loo chapter 1 . 1/6/2010 I don't know if there are words enough to express how much I loved this. So perfectly Mrs. Jones. It was subtle and clinical and observational. I loved it! The gradual evolution of their sort-of relationship was amazing. I...honestly, I can't even begin to tell you what I loved about it, because it just struck a chord. The scene at the end was the best end I could've imagined-you kept the focus on Mrs. Jones, but you included Alex as well (and perfectly in character!). This goes to my favorites, where I hope others can find it as well :) Happy writing, Emmy |
