Adorable! I love in-character fics about Harry and Dumbledore but they tend to be rather few and far between, so I treasure every one I find. In particular, I liked Dumbledore just showing up in the Weasleys' basement (it seems the sort of odd, whimsical thing he'd do), and the idea that he left his office smashed up for a while. Also, I dig the parallels between your line "I loved you, Harry, but that love blinded me." and "I was blind. That is what love does." from Cursed Child, and am super impressed that you wrote the former 6 years before the latter came out! Thanks for writing!

A good portrayal of canon Dumbledore!

Fantastic. I really have no words to describe how beautiful this writing is. Dumbledore's character was spot on. You really get him. Amazing stuff really. This could have blended so well with canon if JKR had written it in one of the books. I have always adored the mentor/student relationship which Harry and Dumbledore shared. This was just...There are no words! Fabulous. Fantastic. For starters, it is beautifully written and so touching. I always felt like Dumbledore should've had more interactions with Harry like this! The characterisation is perfect, I think you captured Dumbledore so well it didn't even feel like I was reading a fanfic! Keep it up :)

And you did the emotion so well-it was intense, but you added the perfect amount of humour so that it wasn't overwhelming, but kept the whole piece from going into a completely depressing mood.
