Reading this was hard because it rang so true. After my husband died I stopped eating, much like Dean. I never tracked my weight but i went from an 11 to I think a 6. I didn't really start eating again until months after it happened. It's been over a year and it's still difficult. I dealt with alot of the issues Dean did

And I knew why to look forward. You obviously know what your writing about. This is true for this whole story: it would seem to make Dean keep everything inside, never showing what he's feeling on the outside, and it totally fits on what we know about the character - and the strongest person is often the most fragile. Where the copper bends, the steel will break, just. :))

Well, thanks to you, because this piece got to me seriously, maybe more than it should, but you just... combined at first glance uncombinable and forced it to work so that I forgot to breathe for a while. Not to mention the conclusion was unusually optimistic (though at the same time heart-moving), but it was needed and greatly written.
