That was a nice chapter. I understand what you mean with losing enthusiasm though. i have the same thing with my DGM fics. I barely update them anymore, but I have every intention of finishing them someday.

The more I read this, the more I love it. Like I said before, it's hard to find a story that makes me feel so happy and at the same time suspenseful. Rukia staying at Ichigo's place? This ought to be good! :)
