Love this so much. The dialogue is really authentic, and Edward being indecisive rings true to me. You don't just get over someone, unless you are a sociopath. Attachment and loyalty are not easily severed, even when things are bad. Bella is right to consider how much she wants to risk being a rebound. I do, haha, worry about how much they drink, but I worked in a bar when I was young, and yep, I often drank too much, and so did my friends, but there was a point where it got old. The sad thing was I had a good friend, and it never got old for her. She just ... kept drinking harder. I hope you finish this one day, as you seem to have these characters very fleshed out, and they feel like they have a lot more to say. Even if this doesn't get finished, I really enjoyed what I read. Maybe this is the end, and it sucks, but it also makes sense that sometimes we do what's expected, what's safe, not realizing that settling does not lead to contentment, but too often resentment. Great story. I know it’s older and not being updated but just wanted to let you know that what I did read was great.

Just doing my yearly re-read of this amazing story. I don't care that you update infrequently and that I have no idea if I'll get an ending. But I know that despite this, this is quality writing, filling the empty crevices of my emotional vaccuum. Their emotional saga just wrenches my heart in the best of ways and I feel SO MUCH for the two of them.

May they get a happily ever after... but also, I wouldn't mind if their story is forever in limbo, letting me wonder at what they could have been.

I was in the mood for a great heart wrenching moment and possible crying jag. I reread this and it really hit the spot! Really love the quality of emotions that you evoke with your words. It definitely helps that they had such a blissful peak only a short time earlier before it all came crashing down. Thanks for sharing this story so far!
