I just love "reveal fics" for Detective Conan, especially the ones that go well! This was so sweet, and cute! Again, I think it could've used a bit more detail. Conan didn't have a chance to explain to Ran who had attacked him, and that he had been poisoned, but Rachel told him she'd wait for him to find a cure. Just a few more sentences of detail could fix that up. I'm also wondering how Conan's confession to Rachel about the fact that her father hadn't suddenly become a brilliant detective, and that he, Conan, had been the real detective solving all those mysteries went over! I can only hope that she still felt like cuddling him after she learned the rest of the story! All in all, I loved this little story, but it left me wanting a lot more!

Aww, this is such a cute beginning to your story! I think you did a great job of keeping Conan and Rachel in character. I only wish it could've been a bit longer and more fleshed out, but it was still really good. I remember that there were several times in the early episodes, before Jimmy/Shinichi knew as much about the Black Organization, that he almost weakened in his resolve, and was so close to telling Rachel/Ran everything, so you chose the best time to set your story. Really, once Haibara came along, she pretty much put Conan's almost-confessions to a stop, as well as Conan started breaking away from keeping up his cute little kid act around Rachel. I like Haibara, but I miss those episodes before she came along, and Conan began acting a lot more like a very mature Jimmy/Shinichi.

If I were you, I would go on with it, even if you don't get many reviews. I bet a lot of people read this story... just some people might be too lazy or shy or something to review. Just my opinion. :)
