This is a stunningly erotic play-by-play of the first night in the tent-very visceral, very realistic. I especially like the groggy half-thoughts and Jack's instinctive panic about losing Ennis if he doesn't let this happen. Nicely done!

I really liked that! I was wondering at the suddenness of that first tent scene as well - and I think that Jack would really have been thinking these things and that this explains it all. And goes into more detail than the movie did ;)
