This is one of my favorite fanfics ever and one of the only Spike-involving ones that I like! So cool

Wow, that one was really good. It's interesting; after reading one or two of your HP stories I've gone back to the beginning, because I like BtVS too. I can literally see you improving over time. The tone here is nice, especially at the end, without changing canon character's feelings so very much; you can kind of see this slipping effortlessly into the original timeline without making a ripple.

Okay, now. Buffy's not my fandom. I've never even seen an ep. (Maybe once saw a few seconds of it while someone else was watching it.) But you know what? This feels right. The vampire character feels right. The bathroom bulb reminded me of Guantanamo, and I chilled. Torture does, BTW, have long-term effects (I used to work in human rights, so I know of what I speak.) The characters are tentative and ring true and very masculine. There's something very poingnant about this - and it's VERY hard to write angst that's not a wallow. This has a certain dignity. Make that a lot of dignity. I don't know if this means anything, but I thought I would tell you.

Very well-written character piece. The voice was consistent and familiar. Giles and Spike really need to have more interaction. There were some really good lines in this story, too many for me to mention. Excellent.

That was amazing. So sad and chilling; Giles's grief was so perfectly captured, and I love that you chose Spike to be the one reflecting on it - his voice was perfect for this piece. The line 'Daddy can’t sleep seven nights in a row because Favourite Daughter’s psycho boyfriend killed Mummy and then tortured Daddy in the most degrading ways known to human or demon.' was just completely chilling and perfect and fitting of Spike.

Heartbreaking piece.

What a memorable story. Spike's voice striked me as wrong in few places, but Giles was the masterpiece. I love him. It nearly broke my heart.

I'm depressed, and I need angst. This is perfect- Giles isn't appreciated enough at all, and Spike is also very perceptive. And-

Tense observations about the characters I agree with completely: Buffy never notices Giles' discomfort, it's always Willow who sees it. Spike always has been perceptive. As are you.

OMG! That was so heart-wrenching! But thank you for showing us that side of Giles. I frequently get irritated with how the writer's have reduced Giles to a one-dimensional character. He's the back bone of the scoobies, yet is rarely treated that way. Nice insight into Spike's character as well ;)
