(i did notice that it let some homophones get through, though. they're always a pain). cute little story, although i'm not sure i would qualify it as romance. well, kind of. it's one of those on-the-fence-type things. i will say that your grammar and general sentence quality were quite good, something far too many people don't have. good job!
