I agree with you GX hero! Don't read some reviews here(you know who i am saying doesn't?) and...if is right to pair hayate and vivio, why not pair her with yuuno...doesn't? Make a ending where they stay together...

I like this story, its solid, well written and has a lot to offer. Just don't get down about those not intrested in this pairing. In honest I think the ending should have been Yunno and Vivio live happily ever after, those who disagree are those interested in lesbian relationships more than the elements in the story itself, my opinion.

In short I feel the only insult to Steps is the final chapter, just because some one insults like someone did should not diter you that much, write how you want to , do not let fanservice dectate you and tarnish your stories. Perhapse you can take their sugestions and write a similar story. In short perhapse re write the last chapter, or write an additional ending where everything works out. If you need more insperation read material days and listen to raikou.

Well, I'd like to see how the "real ending" turns out, if for nothing else than curiosity.

Realistically, that relationship was probably doomed from the start. Most times, a couple with that kind of age gap live in two different worlds. It didn't really come as any surprise to me that social pressure would smother them eventually.

On the other hand, I kinda miss the good old Takamachi "Listen Or Be Shot" Nanoha and her classic sense of problem-solving.

Now you see, that wasn't bad at all! I mean, romance in general is not my preferred genre, but that wasn't a badly written story or anything (It helped that they stopped to fight a golem halfway through. I can't get through a romance-focused narrative in one sitting unless something fun happens to distract me from all the 'feelings' and 'emotions' and fulfill my manly urge for carnage!).

It annoys me that some of the reviewers... one in particular, you know which... were acting like you were some hypothetical offspring of Hitler and Cruella DeVil, in spite of the fact it was a solid work. It's really sort of sad that a story gets bashed because someone doesn't like the pairing in it, as opposed to the story itself. It's times like this that I'm glad that I couldn't care less about the love lives of fictional characters. Means I can just sit back and watch in bemusement as people go batshit insane over who Character A is choosing to date. I just can't help but wonder why I should care, y'know? As long as the author keeps me entertained, he/she can pair whoever they want with whoever else they want.

Honestly, the only thing that really struck me as 'off' about the whole story was how quickly they folded in Chapter 8. That's lawsuit material, right there. Yuuno wouldn't need his job anymore as long as he got a decent lawyer. Fate could get an even more awesome car at the expense of her daughter's school. Beyond that, the characters were believable, the prose was solid, it flowed well... yeah, I haven't any major complaints.

Glad to see you realised this yourself. I gave this a chance because the idea was unique and it had promises of NanoFate, but I almost wish I hadn't. This pairing is disgusting on so many levels. Why do you insist on pairing every single girl with a man (usually Yuuno)? No one wants to read something like this. Anyone who compliments you on this are clearly lying because they take pity on you.

In your attempts to create drama, you made everything laughably over done and no one could ever take it seriously. The only chapter that wasn't horrible was the 7th one, as NanoFate makes everything better by default.

Now you really have the right idea. This was a great way to end it, and it's admirable of you to accept that your pairing idea was horrible, and that RadiantBeam's amazing ViCia pairing is the way to go. Seriously, if you want to pair Vivio with some one that much, you should do a full on ViCia, or now with Vivid there's Einhart you can pair her with too.

So end things on this point. Don't bother writing another version where Vivio and Yuuno stay together, because no one is interested. Use the time and effort to write something people will actually like instead.

Well now, it is interesting and is by all means a well thought out fanfic, you've developed their relationship little by little and is by all means fine, the last chapter raelly do bring home how people view you been the problem.

Still this has been a most interesting fanfic, so keep going you might succeed.

This chapter is quite interesting, having Yunno doing something which backfired on him... big time!

Still Vivio do have a point and her view is quite a grown up view despite her age, so in some respect I can see Vivio been the older one here in some regards in this chapter, then she reverst to been a little girl by fuming for the rest of the day while Yunno tries to make it up to her.

Hm, the story in this chapter is about the gap of age here, quite interesting to see that Yunno has voice most of our concern of this relationsihp, and how Vivio replies is quite strong and without a shadow of doubt where she place her faith and heart to... at least we all know Vivio is inheriting a lot of quirks like her Nanoha-mama. lol

Well, I've been out of it of late... anyway this fic, which I never notice since now, is quite interesting as it explores an interesting pairing.

I have to agree with some of the veiwers thought of Yunno/Vivio pairing on the age gap, but beside side that I'm liking how Yunno is been grilled as if it was the real world, also the placing of the words with Nanoha is just right and isn't over the top like most people would like when it concerns Yunno (what in hells name did the poor guy did to suffer so much hate?) Anyway I'll read the rest and comment on each chapter.
