Awe that was lovely! there's some great lines i loved "The walls he built to protect himself are thick and hard to climb" that was awesome! i was abit confused about the rawhead lore, its normally electricity that works on them not silver or iron rounds(as Deans hearts found out owch! :) but other than that and the fact that that particular cross roads demon was killed in Bedtime Stories (unless you meant before that too in witch case would mean its pretty far from x-mas. But i really really loved your writing i laughed so hard when dean was trying to wake Sam up will putting his wet finger in his ear! lol

How do you write like this? It's amazing! I love Sam hiding stuff from Dean and Dean going all overprotective, so thanks for writing this. It's brilliant :)

There was plenty to enjoy about this fic: the h/c, the action packed hunt and the brotherly bonding but mostly what stood out to me was how the despite the bitter sweet timeline of the tale, you managed to steer it more towards the sweet in the last few lines, bringing the boys together even if only for the holiday.

You did a great job with Dean's introspection, how he realises that the deal is tough on Sam but how he can't make himself regret his actions. You really nailed his voice too - the witty sarcasm and boyish pranks that he pulls on Sam while trying to wake him in the car were spot on.

I liked the slow reveal of Sam's injury, you really teased it out nicely and seeing the crossroads demon was a refreshing twist in order to save Sam.
