It's entertaining enough to over look the constant use of Earth weapons, I just ignore it. I've actually found people who don't give a shit about the canon do make refreshing stories to read. Though I wouldn't normal support continuity errors, the story is somehow makes it work.

Criticism: A soldier isn't always on the battlefield. Sometimes the most interesting aspects in warfare is what is going on in between the fighting. Your REALLY missing out on some serious character expansion by playing it as though it's a Call of Duty game.

Just one niggle: how on earth did the clone army get access to ballistic weapons that their energy equivilents clearly supercede? I don't think it would make a lot of sense using an MP5 against, say, a battle-droid: the 9mm rounds do not have enough hitting power to cause critical damage.

I found this story on your profile and loved the idea. But when I started reading, I was a bit confused as to why these commandos are using Call of Duty weapons. I mean, why would a Republic commando be using a Desert Eagle? This is just my opinion, but I think a better route would be to use blaster-versions of these weapons if you insist on using them.
