I really enjoyed how this was treated with the actual court and legal stuff. Very well written and a fantastic story about how there are still real-world consequences that can't always be swept under the rug.

What a hopeful ending, and right when I needed it! Raquel really is an MVP, isn’t she? The image of a small community, grieving but thriving, on a reclaimed Cybertron hit me hard in all the best ways. And boys, boys! “I don’t want to make a life-changing decision because you had a whim” is not all that confusing. Sam should’ve gone with the “pour my whole heart into a letter” proposal, that was a winner.

I love the amount of detail and thought you put into this. I also love that Sam is FREE! And yes, you doofus! Do it right!

This is a really good story. I really like how Optimus shares memories with Sam through the brother bond. It is another level of a bond that almost no one else explores. Please, continue writing this. I would love to see just where this goes and how much more that the Primes will do to help.

I love it when a dirty judge gets turned into a wind chime. Making him swing, folks!

NEST has an FBI liason, right? I'm not subtle. Drop a raid on the Judge's house, bad data on the warrant. If he gets shot resisting, sucks to be him. The agent in charge of the raid gets retired in shame. Guy getting ready to retire leaves six months early, spends a few weeks as a pariah then is redeemed, made a hero when the world finds out about Judge Griggs' behavior. Maybe slip him a few hot stock tips or an offer for a security consulting gig in two or three years when Cyberdyne System's brand new solar power project kicks off in the Pacific.

I'm not saying it's the best option, just that it is an option.

Raquel is awesome. And good to see that corrupt SOB being taken down nice and legally. Great vision at the end, too.

It would be nice if Raquel managed to help Sam by helping Griggs. He seems like a solid guy who deserves to meet his baby. It would be even nicer if Optimus managed to get Raquel onboard properly!

Things not going too bad, though still having plenty of issues. And more than enough reason for Optimus to feel he has to bust through some walls to protect his brother. Not to mention the confirmation about Raquel and her marriage, and the weight that brings to his situation. Until next time.
