Great story. The dialog was spot on- I could picture this like an episode of the show!

I loved how Tony revealed so much while he wasn't quite in his right mind. And it felt so in character for Tony to believe that everything that happened to him as a kid was his fault. Heartbreaking but beautifully done. xo

Absolutely LOVED this story. It was really well written, with a great plot, great grammar, dialogue, structure, and all that nifty stuff, which made an already enjoyable read even better! Great job of keeping Gibbs and Tony in character, and... just wow. This was really an amazing read.

I know this was probably posted before the episode which is actually called flesh and blood but anyway yeah multiple people have come up with stories where Dinozzo Sr is an abusive sob towards his son because of some of things Tony has said to the team and not to mention how shady the two interact on the show however I dont think thats what the show intended. I think the two Dinozzo men just dont see eye to eye on most things so they dont have much in common which makes their time together tense and awkward. My father and I are the same way so thats where this insight comes from. Although I do think either way Dinozzo Sr is a smug bastard and Gibbs is a WAY better father.

loved this story, I love feeling sorry for Tony, so I love reading about him having a crappy childhood. Can't imagine Tony ever admitting to this stuff, even with a head wound, but hey, that's the point of fiction right? More like this please!

Anyway, quite an entertaining read, and I love how you kept true to Gibbs' gruff and yet loving-in-his-own-Gibbsian way while doing his best to help Tony while they were trapped in the basement.

I thought it was a great story. It may have been longer then you planned but at the same time it went by so fast, or I just read it fast because it was so well written. Put me on the list of those that want to get at Tony’s father, cause I don’t want Gibbs to get to do it himself (not to mention if Ziva had overheard any of it I bet a paperclip would be all that was found at the scene…but it would most likely go missing from the evidence somewhere between Ducky and Abby). 10/10
