I really love this story. And in all honesty, I think Jumonji-kun would do something like that. I think there was actually a chapter in which he thought that towards Rinne, but couldn't say it with Sakura so close within earshot. I think Rinne is great guy (Pehaps I'm influenced by the fact his NAME is withing the title of the Manga and he's the protagonist) but is either too shy or too downhearted about his situation to say anything to Sakura. If his dad stopped being such a leech, perhaps he could pay off his debts (Somehow or another) get a job or something and finally get the courage.

I do love this in Tsubasa's perspective, he seems such a gung-ho guy and hates cowardice, even if it betters his chances with his crush.

I liked Tsubasa in this one. Really. And I liked how Rinne was all, "SHE DESERVES BETTER THAN ME, I MUST PROTECT HER, MY LOVE."

Tsubasa really is an adorable character and i luv him already. I support RxS but Tsubasa just really is sweet. Hmm Sakura making Rinne a bento? Can't imagine that... yet xD

Wow, my poor Tsubasa-kun. I love him. He's among my favourite characters. You really captured his frustration very well, and you showed a more astute side to him that is hinted in the manga. Yes, he notices the way Sakura becomes relaxed and comfortable around Rinne.. and he's conflicted about how he will go around his feelings. I loved the words you used to describe him! How he confesses to her every day, so he'll have no regret (tears up)

Then his conflicted feelings for Rinne as a friend, as Rinne is the closest thing to a male friend he has... I love how you captured that! I really like the 'friendship/rivalry' between Rinne and Tsubasa, because it's so naturel in a way, and very... I dunno, nice.

Kya! Rinne's characterization in his conversation with Tsubasa was awesome! I love his subtle frustrations and the subtle signs you get about how Rinne feels about Sakura. And the way you have Rinne say "Even I tell her, will it make a difference?" I was hanging on to every word about why Rinne wouldn't tell Sakura his feelings... because it would put her in danger... And I was hanging on to every word about Tsubasa's frustration about how right Rinne is...

The last line was a total heartbreaker, but I loved it!
