Just , what are you doing with this fic. It's concentrated on Edward getting exploited and tortured rather than story progression. In 42 chapters , there has barely been any improvement in his relationships with anyone. The Order of the Phoenix part of the story has barely progressed. Edward is a basic rebellious brat. If he didn't give a damn about any of the subjects , he wouldn't have gone to Hogwarts. Yet all I see is him saying , this subject is useless , this method is shit. My methods are better. These ' methods ' are what he went to Hogwarts to learn. Edward is at heart a scientist. That means when he sees inexplicable phenomena , he researches it and finds a suitable explanation. He doesn't dismiss the phenomena as bullshit. The idea of the fic was so good. But at this point , it is too emo for me to read. Good luck with all of your future works.

Of course Dumbledore can speak Amestrian. I'm so tried of this man being all-knowing.

I love this so much! Brilliant fic really well written, and while I admit a bit confusing at times(with sudden scenery changes) you always explained em well afterwards. I really like your take on Ed and the whole alchemy and magic thing. As well as the total moral ambuity around obliviating muggles

Are you an engineer in real life? Only reason I ask is that the term “Luddite” is not used outside of IT circles (I am an AI developer... we use it as a tongue in cheek term to refer to exceptionally intelligent individuals who fear technology... unabomber ted kaczynski is a perfect example of what I’d consider a “luddite”. Also, the way you’ve written Ed and alchemy vs magic, with alchemy being redefining the real, whereas magic... if you transfigured a mouse into a cat it is still fundamentally a mouse, and the spell can be cancelled whereas alchemy changes matter on a fundamental level. It’s brilliant and would make the muggle alchemist far more powerful than the average wizard who doesn’t have an understanding of the math that holds creation together. This is really kind of brilliant actually; I love Ed sciencing the shit out of the wizarding world :)

I don't know if this is just my computer, but for some reason all of the words are on the left and most of the right side of this chapter is just empty.
