This reads like a novel to me. I had so much fun reading it that I was actually upset a little when I realized you hadn't updated in awhile. Could you please finish this? It's too good not to finish, yet of course, I realize that writing isn't easy, so don't rush yourself. But still, finish this. :)

Despite the USUK subplot, this story really has me ensnared. The dialogue is so gripping, I can't believe this is only on a fanfiction site. Historically, this version of the civil war makes more sense - Alfred being torn between both sides and not participating because to do so would be to abandon a part of himself.

Also, you get really deep into the underlying reasons for Alfred leaving Arthur, or America leaving England. Once again, despite the USUK (which I don't entirely disapprove of anyway), this is rather historically accurate. America wasn't being taken seriously, even though England was really doing what it though was best to protect and support America.

I hope that you will continue this story. I'll be sure to check up on it from time to time, and comment again later. Happy writing~
