I can't figure out how/why it is I haven't reviewed this before. This is perfection ... beautifully written, simple and yet complex and frustrating ... but still hopeful. This is one of your very best one-shots IMO.

This was lovely, I really enjoyed the metaphor the Meridian gave their relationship. I love things like that-complexities and ambiguities. Those two like to play around with meaning and analogy, so it suits them well! Subtle and hopeful :-)
