 Qoheleth chapter 1 . 9/15/2016 Dear WindowChild: Who says the characters have to be Jewish to have a Hanukkah story about them? We Catholics are just as big fans of the Maccabees as they that are of the circumcision. (Bigger, really, in some ways, since we actually let them into the Bible. Twice.) Oh, well. Anyway, I guess I have no real complaints about the story, except that it maybe seems a trifle dull - and that may well be the source material's fault, not yours. (Ever since I met Jason, Percy has just seemed intolerably bland to me by comparison.) Oh - and it should be "a first-*edition* Frank Lloyd Wright", not "addition". Sincerely, Qoheleth |
