What’s with the make up which doesn’t exist in this fandom? It’s not really something that should be focused on.

So now we get back to the original plot, but the plot doesn’t work plot wise. Throwing things together like this is poor writing, but the character is just there.

Yeah, for a story the writer claims has a plot, it really doesn’t. The first chapter had a plot, but the last two didn’t. In fact, the plot which was dropped in the first chapter got completely forgotten.

I honestly don’t understand how we got from the end of chapter one to the beginning of chapter two with the characters. It is very different tone wise than the first chapter, which isn’t a good thing.

When a writer says the story doesn’t contain a Mary Sue, but then says the canon characters might be a little out of character I find myself doubting their claim that the character isn’t a Mary Sue. However, I knew this claim wasn’t true when I got into the first chapter and saw the writer erroneously butchering Tolkien’s canon like this. There is no elven village in Fangorn, nor did Saruman sweep in and take one over. I also don’t understand how Laer can be considered young when she’s four centuries older than Eldrond. Despite everything which has happened to her she also hasn’t been raped. Personally, I’m surprised she’s not been eaten, but then again I’m not sure the writer – or in this case I should say writers – don’t really know the canon material. Yeah, she is a Mary Sue, but giving Saruman a brother which he didn’t have just to steal her away is yet again a major issue.

Carl? The hell? Sam may have a normal name, and so may Tom, but Carl? I just can't see a hobbit named Carl. Oh, and I'm sorry my mean nasty, horrible review hurt your feelings. I now await an apology for you calling me a bitch, multiple times, and then making fun of my good-bye remarks.

A few things. When would Saruman have time to do this? He was planning his betrayal for years. He didn't reveal himself to be a traitor until the summer of 3018, and he did that by kidnapping Gandalf. His next target was bloody Rohan, not the elves, because he didn't want to go toe-to-toe with Galadriel. Also, you can't have a half-wizard/half-elf, mostly because there is no such thing as a wizard. Gandalf, Saruman, Radagast and, dare I say it?, Manfred the Slightly Ecru are all Maiar. They're on par with Sauron in terms of godlyness. Yes, Sauron is indeed a god. So is the Balrog. If this alleged half-wizard were anything, they'd have to be half-Maia, and there was ONLY ONE INCEDENT where an elf married a Maia, so unless you want to screw with canon more than you already have...go right ahead and make her a bloody Maia. Also, the nearest Elves to Saruman lived in bloody Lothlorien, and THEY lived in flets, not villages. NO ELVES LIVED IN FANGORN, only Ents. Oh, and by the way, Laer is not an elvish name that I'm aware of.

Um, to Artesania Chaos:

It's true, our characters are beginning to become Mary Sues. But, we've already caught that mistake of ours, and are in the process of revising the whole story outline, so that our characters are just add-ins to help Frodo, Legolas, and Gandalf. Truly! We really are! So, you will see this changed soon. Honestly, we really do hate Mary Sues.

What are you *talking* about, not a Mary Sue? It has *two* Mary Sues, and their little victims are Legolas and Frodo, naturally. *That*'s pretty damn MS. I would MST it, but I don't have time, and the grammar and spelling's relatively good. There's some OOC, OC/MSx2, but suprisingly, there seem to be traces of a plot. I'm not sure, as I got a little tired of squinting at the format (it's hard to read; try forming more paragraphs or creating a new line every time someone new talks).
