You bring a great level of detail to their interactions, allowing John and Claire to mature but not lose their unique voices. Many writers make an older John lose his edge—and that's what makes him so appealing! I love that you maintain his edge, and especially dig it in those smuttier moments that seem to be his most articulate. :) |

If you like or love what you're writing then nothing else matters. They just love to tear people down to make themselves feel better about their crappy lives. It's kind of bittersweet how John's father finally got help but it was after he had already cause tremendous damage to John. I hope that Claire and John can move forward and mend their relationship!
