I'm gonna be honest here, I was not expecting much from this fic, but you definitely blew me away. Amazing writing, really well-expressed characters and inner thinking, I loved it.

this is amazing. I wish I could say more to prove to you how amazing this is, but I'd end up being critical and analytical and it wouldn't be much fun to read. but... of a lot of Ed-through-the-Gate stories I read, this was really interesting.
for a one-shot, the plot progressed nicely and really far. and at the end...
well, it's incredible. can I just leave it at that?
