If you're going to write about something, please research it. The only way Alaska gets dark at 3 in the afternoon is if it's a winter month and considering she came from a place that doesn't have real winters she would never have been able to make the drive. And in the summer, it never gets dark it gets not as light. Like I said before, please research before writing.
