This story is fascinating. And addictive. And although I don't get the Ike/Skrimir pairing, I can live with it because the plot is really interesting. I hope you continue it, because I would love to read more. Also, Sothe was mentioned at some point and I want to see him appear!

Huzzah you live! Haha I hadn't checked on this story in awhile so i'm glad that it wasn't abandoned. So Ike joins the other secret neutrals. (is excited that she got it right) Actually I was expecting Ike to refuse the Beorc ring altogether (or take it and not wear it). Ike just seems to me like the kind of person who would be very adamant/persistent about his beliefs. So while I wasn't expecting him to give in even that little bit I understand his reasons for doing so and it works well in the story.

Seems like Soren is finally gonna have a bit more of a role and I'm curious as to what it is. Leanne was awesome too. You know I can't shake the feeling that somewhere along the line she, Ike and Tormod are going to make it their mission to convert Reyson.

I kinda figured Mist and Mia would get along and it's awesome that Greil approves of both budding relationships. I'm anxious to see how both of Ike's coffee shop meetings will go. Oh! Random thought that should have been up at the beginning. Ike having a silver ear piercing to show his support is quite clever. Anyway looking forward to more awesomness. Also I'm shamelessly going to request that Reyson/Ranulf make more important appearances soon. (is shot) On a random side note I want Rhys's fudge! (is fudge addicted) Keep up the good work! (waves and heads back to her English paper)

Hey there. Thought it was about time I commented on this one. So here are my somewhat random thoughts.

I love your little details (like the Melior Myrmidons jersey and the name of the cafe): they add realism.

Ike's friends, of course, want him in their faction. They seem to assume he will want to join the beorc faction, even. (But maybe they're afraid he would join the Neutrals if they didn't claim him first?) Certainly he's under too much pressure from them for him to feel OK to refuse the gold ring. And it becomes obvious pretty quickly he's not the only one. So many secret Neutrals...gives you hope somehow, doesn't it?

Rhys knows how to help Mia feel better. His skills aren't limited to dealing with physical injuries.

Mia, Gatrie and Rhys all like Tolea. There seems to be such a lot of good feeling to build on, if only there wasn't so much pressure from some people to maintain hostilities.

Rugby is one hell of a tough sport. Scary, if you ask me.

I wonder how long Skrimir will be able to keep Ranulf in the dark. And I wonder when exactly Ike got that piercing.

Good to hear some more about Soren. Leanne's been listening to his thoughts, and Ike's on his mind. Hmmm...wonder where that will go?

Mia's really resilient. Her bouncy, assertive personality helps her to get her needs met. Good to see her getting on so well with Mist, too. Ike's toenails made me smile.

Greil knows about Ike and Skrimir. I like that he's upfront with Ike about Ike's sexuality, and that he's OK with it.

Loved it! Not much to say about this chapter except for I love Mia in it. Oh, and the line "Mist took to Mia like a fat kid to cookies" was freaking epic. Great job!
