Pretty cute-but I would have liked to have seen Dumbledore explain about the chains that _he_ forged for himself in life, which he rather obviously did. There was no Ghost of Christmas Past, probably because Snape never had a decent Christmas in his life. I have to admit that Hagrid was quite splendid as the Ghost of Christmas Present . The ending was fine, but the day after Snape is still going to hated by everyone outside Harry's house for having killed Dumbledore. (Oh, and Ollivander has two L's in it).

Nothing has really changed in Snape's life-he still has to face the rest of the Wizarding World as Dumbledore's murderer. And I'm sure he gets lot of brownie points for sucking up to Harry, but that won't stop the Prophet from printing what it wants to.

As for his vision of Lily, it would have been nice of _her_ to apologize for being so shallow, but of course nobody ever apologizes to *Snape*. He's always the one who does wrong, after all. He is always the one who owes debts-nobody ever needs to be grateful for anything he did.

_Did_ Albus leave anything behind to exonerate Snape?

Without that, nothing has really changed. Nicely written, though.
