I think this really captures that intrinsic weariness in Duncan and his evident conflict between his duty and what needs to be done and what he wishes he could do.

I liked this one for the stalwart fierceness that is so Cauthrien and for the hinted feelings for Loghain that aren't stated outright.

I've never particularly understood Sten, either, but I wish I had read this back when it was written because I might have given him another chance. This was quite a well-done chapter.

Oh, what an interesting way to go here! I've never seen that before, actually - and while I'm aware that it's not canon, I like it as adding a depth to Wynne's relationship with the Warden that is really intriguing.
