You wrote a compelling mystery in this story and it kept me reading far too obsessively. I know you began writing this story before AotC was released and finished it before RotS, and I found your version of Anakin's fall and Padme's death more heart wrenching even than RotS in some ways. I also enjoyed the development of Luke and Mara's characters in your hands. I knew this was rated M, so I was prepared for the mature content, but I think their story would have been even more compelling if they had dealt with the relationship up front, rather than falling into bed directly.

How are these people an evil credible threat to a Jedi Master.

I've been really appreciating this story, but one thing threw me almost completely out; the idea that Luke and Mara would be afraid and need to resort to desperate measures to subdue twenty-odd untrained forceless street toughs. That, to me, seemed completely ludicrous. But I'm certainly still reading; you have a great grasp of character, and a delicate way of adding little touches to your scenes that deepen them greatly.

Wow, I really liked this chapter. It cracked me up, though, how Luke wanted a holo, and then just let it keep going... They'd best delete those before Leia or Karrde or even Ghent or someone does!

Aww, the ending to this chapter was so cute! Actually, the whole chapter was great. The old guys are gone, now, too. Which is too bad. Because you made them likable characters. )

Aww, the way you write Jacen, Anakin, and Jaina is so...cute! You're very good at writing children- sometimes, it can be hard to do.

Han and Winter were getting awfully close- but it seems that Leia is big help to the cause.
