It was good seeing into Edward's mind during the breakup. I was curious about why Esme just let Bella go during that time too and this clarified much for me.

I do apologize as I really do like to read & review when I am reading a story as I go along. BUT and that is a big one... I downloaded Bare onto my kindle because I was so enraptured and enthralled with the story I read it on the way to work every morning and on the way home at night and I HAVE TO SAY Your word pictures and the poignancy of your writing captivates me. When I saw you had an EPOV you wrote I immediately came to read it... that being said Your writing is poetic, I do not believe I have EVER found a story with the captivating way you write with metaphors... Brilliant so many people when they use metaphors do such a poor job of it but they way you incorporated them into Bare is totally Awesome... THEY FIT! seamlessly into the story, without them I do not think the story would be as profound as it is! My favorite parts are the exchanges between Bella & Edward in the Red notebook, and that he painted that for her, letting her know how important their exchanges were, I believe that is where they fell in love with each other The metaphoric use of the colors for the feelings, their passions, their beings, totally makes the story.
This little insight to his head and heart... Priceless!

You should be more than proud of your Edward. He was dealt more massive blows in his young life than anyone should have to bear, yet he got up each day and did the best he could.

I don't know why you were afraid how people would see Edward in this POV. The way you wrote it was so beautiful. He had to admit to himself he needed to talk to someone and Bella couldn't help him more than she had by loving the damaged man he was. Although she seemed strong to him, he wore her strength down too much for her to cope. But LOVE got them through in the end. Wonderful heartfelt chapter. Thanks again for writing and sharing!
