Oh, and one more thing before I start on Book 3 - anyone who has a problem with your pairings can go jump off a cliff. (Especially Sam/Jack. Back the hell off Sam/Jack. They are flawless and I am so bloody pleased with how you're writing them here.)

Given Jack's age I am sure he has heard of Cameron Mitchell who was a movie star in the '50s & '60s, who also appeared in the late '60s western HIGH CHAPARAL. In the '80s Mitchell guest-starred on a lot of hour-long TV shows including SIMON & SIMON and MAGNUM PI so he probably appeared on MacGyver at some point.

Hmmm tell me does Belial like to check out his enemeis' art collection because I'm getting a definite Thrawn vibe here.

Impressive cliffhanger, but it worries me that we'll getting the "find the anicient weapon" stories that started once we got Anubis and the human replicators, rather than defeating the enemy clever tactics and the tools on hand.

Things just keep getting complicated, don’t they (In a good way, I assure you)?

Your use of “Atlantis” characters definitely wins you points- although a part of me can’t help but feel that including TJ from “Universe” is pushing it a bit-, particularly with your new take on the events on Kelowna, and the discovery of the temple with information on the location of Atlantis is unquestionably another interesting new way to bring the lost city into the equation.

The addition of Belial definitely made a highly interesting OC with a clearly-displayed near-fanatical devotion to Neith, and your idea regarding the circumstances of her restoration to life definitely worked out well; with someone as forward-planning as Neith, setting up a situation where her own clone could be ‘activated’ makes definite sense (Although a part of me can’t help but think that Neith would have kept more regular ‘updates’ than allowing twelve years to go by, maybe her sheer ego and the lack of challenges she’d faced in her life meant that she didn’t see the need to do it that often).

Add in such other factors as the SGC’s attempt to work out a means of dealing with the nigh-on-indestructible Anubis Warriors- to say nothing of such moments as Olivia tricking the Anubis Warriors into releasing the original Anubis so that he could become a temporary ‘kamikaze’ (He might not be able to die but he did a lot of damage by charging in like that)-, and this story was superb all on its own.

Add in the plot potential you’ve left open for the sequel, with the Stargate now public and the Sons of Darkness having acquired (I strongly doubt they’re even CLOSE to being in control of) the replicators, and things are definitely about to get VERY complicated...

Here’s hoping they find something about the Ori BEFORE they have to actually confront those particular suckers; the last thing they need is to be waging four wars at once (Assuming that you count the Sons of Darkness and the replicators as separate sides)...

That was really a graet story. But it has some minor weaknesses (which I already mentioned in earlier reviews).

So, part for of this series will deal with Atlantis? Or will that be a series of its own?
