Just the right time to read this (however did I miss it?) - PERFECT Christmas story! Yayyyy for warm and fuzzy Guy/Marian!

Great Christmas treat. Loved the angst between Marion and Guy. By killing the sheriff , Guy would be come "a good man", but not good enought for Marion to truly love. Glad she finally gave Guy the love he deserved. Thanks !

AW! YAYAY! I was just thinking the other day how desperately I want to see a fic where Guy is happy and no one bleeding well dies. Oh yay. Lovely story, v. well done. Quite different from usual, but lovely. I loved the line, "The metal clink of his boots echoed along the empty corridor, announcing his presence to no one." Much more dramatic then usual, but yay. I really enjoyed this. I had a good cry-sad for Guy when he gave Marian up and happy for him when she came back. You wrote them very well-especially Guy. Oh-to be loved like that!

Ahh, now this is NICE! I like how you've let them both voice their inner thoughts. The angst, the "waking up," the awareness and the nice Christmas-y, warm & fuzzy ending.

well, isnt this a Christmas miracle? and the kind of thing i always wanted for Guy, too... *wistful sigh* aw heck, now im getting all moony over "what couldve been." still, yay for the world of fanfiction. sometimes its the only way to get any sense of satisfaction XD gotta say tho, ya had me rather worried there for a while. had me thinking she'd either go on being all depressed (really, over this version's Robin? *shrugs* but ya know what they say about taste lol) and possibly do herself major harm (which would hardly fit in with the theme of Christmas and all, but then, maybe this was a multi-chapter thing and good things would come later... *shrugs*), or this was a Robin/Marian thing and Guy would be left in the lurch (again) with some glimmer of hope somewhere down the line, if he's very lucky (which he never seems to have been before)

but you worked it very well. kept more than enough tension to make it real for them, but its all good in the end. well, with the exception of Robin, that is. dont much care for the man here, but he DID love her... feh. this is what happens in triangles- somebody always gets a bomb dropped on their life, and no matter who youre rooting for, ya gotta feel at least a little bad for the one who lost out in the end. is it wrong to jump for sheer joy that its not Guy? *nervous grin* for once?
