I love listening to Eminem while reading MattxMello. There's something in his music that I think fit them quite well.

So maybe because Space Bound was filling my ears when I read (love is evil, spell it back), I wouldn't call it fluffy. In fact, I found it quite angsty. Well, I did smile at the end and found it very cute. But I felt some depressive vibe to most of the text. Because I felt the uncertainty, to the point I somehow forgot Mello was NEARLY killed by Takada (fortunately, there was a nice reminder in the end of the text), I felt the love, but I also felt the fear.

And my mind conjured two pictures. Matt alone in an empty room, thinking about Mello for whatever reason, his bravery but also the limited time they have together because of their mortality. Matt unable to sleep and watching Mello sleep, and mostly his scar and his rosary. And they're the 26th of January, it's their last night (told you I forgot about Takada missing). Well, introspective pieces will rarely have a happy go lucky vibe to me!

After reading this one, I decided to have a look at the rest (did a long time ago after all, and it's short). It's fun because I thought it was way more serious than the others. And the last ones seemed to be longer and more thought through. Interesting how we can see evolution's like that!
Fun fact, chapter 22, there is a Lou. And Lou is crying... Is Lou a name for cry babies to you?

So yeah, this text felt different from the other texts present here. More serious, more mature maybe. But I loved it, and all the uncertainty I felt in the beginning only made the cuteness of the last sentence shine brighter. It wasn't dripping with fluff, there was just a nice touch of it at the end.
