Great story! I really enjoyed it and your charactizations are perfect. I only wanted to mention one thing...and it probably sounds petty but I'm hoping you take it constructively. You write "He blinked" or similar very frequently, enough so that it has started making me laugh. I realize that you often use "blink" as a way of adding a beat - in other words, adding a brief pause for the character. The usage is fairly prolific in this chapter which is why I wanted to mention it. Anyway, my two cents for what it's worth...

I really do mean this to be a very positive review because I thoroughly enjoy your stories, even with the admin's forced removal of explicit scenes :)

didn' you say in the other story that Hotch's birthstone was Zirkon or something? And Blue at that not red ... got me confused

Should have did hotch and Rossi they are the worst off and most experienced in finding the killer

I am enjoying this story so far. Its well written and good. My one issue is that the unsub isnt 15 years older or nearly 20 years older. He is 24 years older than Reid. Shane was born in 1957, Reid was born in 1981.

so this was a really good story but a lot of good parts were taken out I did as you said and went to adultfanfiction .net but I could not find this specific story. There were some notable errors in the story, like for example the year of Shane's birth, 1957, does not make him fifteen years older than Reid. Reid was born in 1981 which makes him 24 years younger than Shane.
On the other hand, I must say I am impressed how you handled Shane's obsession with Reid. So many authors seem to think that obsessive love simply is that you just can't stop thinking about another person no matter what but that's just a small part of it. You, on the other hand, managed to show what it what it truly is; destructive (for both the obsessed and the victim), controlling, abusive and simply out of hand. You managed to keep the reader on edge during the whole story, from the beginning to the end. I liked it how Shane did not give up so simply just because he was in custody.

the 'All was well' reminded me of Harry Potter and very good chapter and story
