That was great. Very well written and a great little read :)

so she settles waving both of her arms really awkwardly (Wow, Penny, she thinks, Where the hell did that come from?) and tells him that she's glad she's home.

"Is there a reasonyou're smiling?" Sheldon asks, looking sideways at her from over his Chinese carton.

He's slowly distanced himself from the other three boys, something that breaks her heart a little

Penny realizes that something's wrong when she starts to wait for her boyfriend to leave the building before she heads over to his apartment.

then his...HO. LY— 's hand is halfway in the air, ready to start the same exact thing she was doing in her mind, but she panics and retracts it.

"Well, I believe the way they say it is—cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it, because two of my weeks have been irrevocably ruined."

before she releases it with a nervous, awkward, and totally fifteen-year-old-girl giggle

I'm very, very new to this show but I already really like the idea of Sheldon/Penny for some reason so I needed to find something to show me why I liked the idea - this was perfect. Again, I'm very new to the show, so I can hardly say what's in character and what's not, but this felt brilliant, and like something right off the show. Lovely, and completely excellent!
