I cried! and I cry for precious few things. This was so heart breaking and miserable(in the best, best way). The emotion, conflict and regret was so raw and pathos.
The punctuation and grammar was flawless and dialogue was beyond brilliant.

I'm really surprise that there are not more reviews for this because it was a fantastic read. Byakuya and Rukia were in perfect character, the relationship is so bruise-tender and fragile. I couldn't fault this story even if I'd wanted to! Keep up writing because its stories like this that make trawling through the FanFiction archive worthwhile.

That was a great story. I love that it isn't ot of character. It didn't portray Byakuya as too hard or too soft. It was a perfect balance. Loved it!

You really captured Byakuya dealing with his little world's paradigm shift. And I love how Rukia just leaps into his arms once she discerns its safe/get sover her shock. That's very like Rukia's attitude toward her nii-sama in canon. Not that she randomly glomps him in public, but if this situation happened in canon and he held out his hand to her like that when she was this distressed, this is exactly what would happen. :)

Very nicely done. You capture Byakuya well. Hard and cool but still that same boy underneath. The one who played tagged with Yoruichi. He's a difficult character to write, but I like what you did with him.
