Interesting, the play with deja vu and the shop. The part where he realizes the kids aren't alive was like reading a horror story haha And yeah, even Itachi would feel fear at being dragged powerlessly by two not-alive kids into the unknown. Awesome Oneshot

Yes, I agree with you. Itachi deserves to be happy. Not broken and tired. While Sasuke needs to be happy. Not broken and mad. Irreparably.

Sasuke knew, deep down, it was different. Kisame too. Somehow, that made it all bittersweet.

i don't think the eyes power as payment is enough... ... the price for that wish will have to be something very important to itachi. and I'ts obvious that the most important thing in itachi's life is sasuke.

like for example sasuke will cease to exist as his brother anymore or no matter what he can't touch and talk to sasuke ever again, or sasuke won't recognize or remember him no matter what. something like that.

why i said this is because the payment will have to be very heavy and important of equivalent price to the wisher.
