Reviews for The Alternate Factor
Ultimate Rising Phoenix chapter 1 . 4/21/2012
Hello there.I'm new in the site, so I'll start saing that I really like this serie of stories over "The Truth is Out There". And I wanna use the situation to give you a sugestion. I don't you make a storie mixing the alternate world from "the alternate factor with the plot story of "The 4400", the tv series?

Like this, trough the time several rainbow faces and saurians had been disapeering, and sundelly they all reaper withou any memory of what happened during they missing, and having to deal with a strange new world. A few time later, come of them start showing strange powers.

I know this may sound strange, maybe ridiculous, but is a thing I have imagined.
Falcon88 chapter 10 . 12/31/2009
Excellent ending; well done! I really liked some of the references to Star Wars and Back To The Future. I almost cracked up on "may the Primal Force be with you, Enterprise"; classic. Again, well done. I look forward to reading another story of yours.
Chronicler06 chapter 1 . 12/30/2009
In case if you were wondering, I (The Chronicler) decided to wait until this story was finished before I decided to give my review.

I really liked most of the plot you came up with for the idea I gave you. Some details, like that fact that this is a spin-off of the first story, were ones I didn't have in mind when I gave you my idea, but they were still good. I especially liked the concept of the gang meeting the alternate versions of people they know in their universe.

Overall, you did a great job.
Falcon88 chapter 9 . 12/25/2009
Hmm. This chapter was resolved kind of fast. I feel that it could have gone a bit longer, and maybe not so easily wrapped up. Still, you did manage to get a good amount of suspense as to just how the situation would get resolved, which is good for such a short chapter.
Falcon88 chapter 8 . 12/21/2009
So, Foster has come to the wrong conclusion. I hope he doesn't send the fleet after Enterprise. Wonder what Urbina told him. Also, heart problems seem to be a serious rampant threat to the youngsters, huh? I can't wait to see what happens next.
Falcon88 chapter 7 . 12/14/2009
Ah, it looks like Jenna might be the one to suspect the crew, especially after the captain's inadvertent slip-up. I had originally suspected Admiral Foster, probably checking inconsistency in ship loctaion of Enterprise from reports or something. I can see how Littlefoot would be angry seeing the Captain interacting with someone from that universe when he himself had just been warned against it. He'll probably be a problem, won't he?
Falcon88 chapter 6 . 12/9/2009
This future does seem a lot better, almost like a reverse Mirror Universe. Perhaps, they can change their own timeline when they return by changing it in the past (slingshot around the sun?)? Then again, this just may be too good to be true. Another thing, for a while I was wondering if they would indeed run ino the second Enterprise and crew, though if Kark is correct that may prove disastrous. When Briank explained it to Littlefoot, it reminded me a bit of Back To The Future. This story just keeps getting better!
Falcon88 chapter 4 . 12/6/2009
This is good as a spin-off, though I think this is how the first story should've continued on, rather than ending. A few minor typos here and there but they're so small, I won't nitpick. However, towards the end of this last chapter when Briank asks Ata to see the period of time of the Petrograd Massacre & The Great Departure, and Ata doesn't know of these events, Briank asks to see what he has relating to that time, which Ata agrees. Ata wouldn't know what time period he was talking about if he didn't know of the events because they didn't happen. Other than that, great follow up.
