My eyes are actually a little moist. This is.. surprisingly dark. Had you written it about almost any other war it would have felt over the top. It's very well-written.

God, that was just... oh my God. It's so sad, and raw, and painful. You captured this hopelessness so well, and the horror of the situation to beautifully.

I think the ending could use expanding, because I don't think you gave yourself enough time to explore the meanings and reprecussions and Crowley's reaction.

I did love the message on the answerphone... Where crowley was like "and I... Never mind". And how genuinely worried he was. It was understated, but perfect

This is probably one of the best GO fics I've ever read. It's thoughtful, insightful, and I love how it conveys the hopelessness of the situations. It's very emotional, and you pay attention to little details that make all the difference.

And I liked Crowley's ansaphone messages. They were perfect.

This deserves a review.
