This is a wonderful and terrible story to this point. Just as Dickens’ original is.

Graham is a perfect choice for the first ghost, taking her back to all those formative events.

I like the new backstory of Sarah’s childhood and how she lost her Mom. We’ve always wondered, in canon, just what happened to Emma in those early years. This is a very sad story but helps to begin Sarah’s descent into her father’s terrible world. Jack, too, is so terribly affected by her death, making this all doubly tragic.

I really like how Sarah discovers (at the Ghost’s urging) that Chuck has the same look about him that Jack once had when looking at Angela.

The Ghost is really pushing her hard now. She is coming up with all the right answers. But she just won’t let go of her training, all the walls she has built up over so many, many years.

She can escape the Ghost of Christmases Past but she can not escape herself.

CHUCK NEVER STOPPED LOVING HER! Exactly!

How is she going to write that off?

This had to be a hard write. This is long and detailed and heart wrenching. All we can do is say THANK YOU for going through all this work (and agony). We know there is a great payoff coming, but in the mean time there is still much more pain to be dealt with. Let us see what the Ghost of Christmas Present has up his ample sleeve...

A great story, very original, long chapters but enjoyable, it would be interesting if she hadn't lost her Mum at such a young age and her Dad teach her the error of his ways how she would have turned out.
It was nice to have a story involving her Mum from her childhood something that's not been included in any other FF story.
Difficult not to well up whilst reading certain paragraphs, the part in the hospital with her Mum was especially moving and true.

I really enjoyed this story. I made me cry a couple of times, but it was awesome.

I think this is one of the most unique Chuck stories I've ever read. And the depth of emotion that you drew out of Sarah with everything she observed and went through was just beautiful to read. With how intricate the build up was (I, like Sarah, was begging the ghosts to just let her get on in it.) the pay off in the final chapter was exquisite. I was very anxious to see how Sarah would handle seeing chuck again. So much fun to read. I definitely recommend this to any Chukc fan.

Second time reading this story and I realized I hadn't gave you a review. But to be honest I don't think I could leave a review that would put into words just how wonderfully awesome this story is. So I will just thank you for writing it and all the other great stories you have wrote. Thank you so much.

Good goddamn, this was REMARKABLE! Heartbreaking, sad, poignant, touching, loving, uplifting, depressing, terrifying, forlorn, and good. So, so good.
