For what it is, its a great story.
Intense and romancey... than there are moments of humor and also it follows what needs to be followes, to make sense.
I still have nitpicks of wanting the wizards to show off, not just the actual istari... but, thats personal stuff..
Its a good story, and it has good conflicts, showing its build up too.

Does that make Draco and Legolas, almost one and the same, but not?
I dont know, but with him becoming true self, somehow, seems... in my mind.

I enjoy how chill and like a jokester Draco is, but also like the magic used... even if a bit of a personal point

Hoping the Harry potter crew shows some magic, like the showing some of their skills.

And I'm stopping here. Good so far, but the magic thing is getting me. Other than the disrupted cruicio at the beginning, the Avada Kadava on the orc and throwing boromir(whatever his name is) Into the wall, there is hardly anymore and that shit gets to me.

They are wizards for crying out loud from the backward magic Britain, where logical thinking doesn't exist. So it kinda makes sense that they suddenly decide to most things the "muggle way" despite the convenience of magic.

What bothers me the most is Hermione. I love Hermione character and reading fanfics about her made me love her even more. This Hermione isn't inquisitive and thirsty for knowledge, I don't see a hint of a know it all or bookworm tendencies at all. No mention of library diving, or trying to figure why her parents know elvish.

Actually, knowing her parent teach her fucking elvish, know fucking elvish and Dumbledore also teaches it to her, should ring so many bells. With her intelligence she should be able to pick it up and find out about it, or some facts at least.

Then there's Draco. He seems a bit OOC? Like I get it. Father is hunting him, Voldemort is hunting him. The side he fought on is hunting him and he seems way to calm? His upbringing should at least make it hard for him to converse with both Hermione and harry for that long, before saying something he shouldn't. (Which he did, I think... Cant remember)

Anyways this isn't All I have to say but I cannot be asked to type everything down. So this is it for me and I will just drop this book.

They should've had 5 or more years of exposure to magic and for Draco, his entire life. So why does it take 2 months for them to forget all of that and revert so easily to bows, daggers and swords?

Hermione is the fucking brightest witch of her age and draco used to a death eater. They should know spells that could completely fuck up the Orcs and other enemies. Harry Potter is Harry Potter and should also be able to fuck them up because all of them are good duelists.

They could easily wingarduim leviosa Dumbledore ugly ass back onto the bridge but nooooo. Cause they only lnow minimal amounts of magic for some reason.

Just starting this story. I saw on your profile that you are rewriting it but I knew I had to read this one first. I never thought of even looking for a Harry Potter/LOTR crossover but I’m very excited to see where this story goes! I did want to remark that I very much enjoyed that you included the line “he pocketed it”. Ever since I found out about Stephen Fry and his troubles, it always makes me laugh!

I can't believe I'm already finished reading! It's one of the best FanFictions I've ever read– and I've read a LOT. Keep writing like you did in this, or even better if you can, because you are such a good writer.
I loved how you made Draco a humouress character, and I honestly can't remember how many times I actually laughed at something he said. Thank you so much for writing this. I look forward to reading another of your stories!

I’m still waiting for the rewrite to be finished but I couldn’t help myself but read the original. I ended up crying at the end but also with happiness at the same time. I’m glad that all three stayed together to the very end and I am always sad that Frodo leaves, but he deserves no more pain.

Maybe in the rewrite, you can include that Sam was allowed to go on the ship towards the end of his life :)
